With Call of Duty introducing cartoon skins into the game these days, the series stands as seriousBattlefield 6” may follow suit, but recent data mining shows that DICE andEAA more serious strategy may be being pursued.
It is important to note that the following screenshots are from data mining and are not the final product. Even so, the faction skin mined by the data still shows that DICE is moving in the right direction.
Early faction skin pictures in Battlefield 6 focus on “realism”
These skins were shared by Reddit user y ZaayKoZ. The image shows the faction skins of the four different classes that players may obtain (or purchase) in the game.
Its advantage lies in the absence of anime, cartoons, or other comical elements in the design. While they aren’t as bells and whistles as Call of Duty skins, I think this would be an acceptable option for those who are tired of seeing a flood of various entertainment characters in self-proclaimed authentic shooters.
“Call of Duty” has been linked with a number of entertainment characters
Of course, this doesn’t mean that the game will never have those funny-looking skins, after all, publisher EA has apparently noticed how much money Activision makes from these crossover skins and accessories, and is likely to want to follow suit.
While I hope DICE will stand its ground on this point, or at least find a reasonable compromise, I wouldn’t be surprised if the game announces a crossover event that introduces faction skins from popular movies, TV series, or games. But this has not happened yet, and at present, we are relieved that DICE’s design has not catered to those “krypton gold giants” for the time being.
These leaked early skins were praised by Reddit netizens
As someone who hasn’t played Call of Duty multiplayer since it became more and more outrageous (comical), I really hope that Warzone 6 doesn’t repeat the same mistakes. Although it is easier said than done to get EA to give up these potentially huge gains, in terms of long-term development and player loyalty? Engaging in flower work is definitely not the way out.
EA has not yet announced the official release date of Battlefield 6, but there are various indications that the game may arrive on PS5 in October.Xbox Series
